ROYAL CANADIAN AIR CADETS
835TH GRIFFIN SQUADRON
Cadets is a federally sponsored program for young
Canadians ages 12 to 18. There are no registration fees,dues or
cost for uniforms or for the basic Cadet program. Parents are
encouraged to assist in all ways and support Cadets in their
fundraising efforts.
The program has 3 aims:
- Develop leadership and good citizenship
- Promote physical fitness
- Stimulate an interest in the 3 elements of the Canadian Forces
The Cadets and their leaders also commit to attaining
the programs core values of:
- Loyalty
- Professionalism
- Mutual Respect
- Integrity
Cadets are not members of the military, but learn
skills that stimulate an interest in air activities and learn
skills that are inherent within the Canadian Forces, such as self-discipline,
teamwork ,and good citizenship.
Cadets offers opportunities to practice skills
which help build individual Integrity, self-assurance, esteem,
and a healthy
self-image
The Cadets program is one of the best programs
in all Canada for youth.

The 835th Griffin Air Cadets meet every Tuesday at Don Ross Secondary School
(42091 Ross RD. Brackendale) between 6:30 and 9:30pm.
Any young Canadian between 12 and 18 can join anytime
