Spring Break at the Britannia Mine Museum

Engage the whole family with discovery this Spring Break at the Britannia Mine Museum. Explore a series of fun and educational, family-friendly activities.

Drop-in activities daily from March 17th to 31st starting at 12:30 - 1:30 and 2:30 - 3:30 .

Activities include:

• A family-friendly scavenger hunt that explores the whole site. Dressing up and photos are part of the fun.
• Discover the social history of Britannia. Unique historical artefacts, colouring sheets, and activations inside the A-to-Z Building.
• Arts and crafts. Design your own copper queen crown!
• Hands-on experience with Earth Sciences including minerals and siesmology.
• Grow your own mining company with our popular Stakeholders game. Will you be able to do right by your community, workers and the environment? Suitable for ages 10+.
