The West Coast Railway Park is a work in progress constantly expanding with fascinating additions sure to delight the new and return visitors. It is one of the most visited railway parks in Canada.
Construction of our 21,000 sq/ft CN Roundhouse & Conference Centre is complete. This exciting new complex will includes an operating turntable, and an outdoor plaza.
Yearly memberships are available and the park is open year round.
HISTORICAL NOTE:
Water was the only means of access to Squamish until 1954, when the Pacific Great Eastern Railway opened between Vancouver and Prince George. A year later, Highway 99 opened, ending the isolation of the town of Squamish, which has grown and prospered as a result.
